Many years ago I heard a quote that basically said if your
daily activities reflect your highest priorities, then you are at peace. If not, then they really aren't your priorities, or you are not at peace.....LOVE this!! One of my biggest priorities is documenting my family's journey together, documenting our experiences and memories. But, life plows me over....and then months have gone by without doing anything with my pictures and my memories....anybody relate?!? The most important things in life sometimes get pushed aside.....we have all these special moments we want to remember, we take the pictures, and there they sit. No more!! It is a new month!! So let's make a committment to just spend 10 minutes today and get started documenting........there are 2 ways to do this. Choose what way you want to go. If you want to create things with your pics in any other way than from on your phone, then #1 is for you..... 1) Create a file for 2015 - GO! Right now, Do it! ( 2 minutes, done), next Upload all your pics off your phone and on to your computer under your new 2105 file- Do it! (5 minutes- done). If you have 10 more minutes, then create a file for each month, and put the pics that go in each month in those folders. If not, then tomorrow, do January's pics, Wednesday do February's pics and so on...by the end of the week you will have all your 2015 in an organized fashion! Next week...super simple ideas of what to do with all your pics! Stay tuned!! Get organized this week.
So, if you just want to make photo collages from your phone using collage apps then, you are done....cuz your phone organizes them according to date anyway. If this is the way you want to go, then get an APP on your phone right now that allows you to create photo collages. GO!! You can do this in 5 minutes or less. Project Life App is great for 1.99 I believe, or there are some free ones too.Project Life allows you to grow a collage to a 12 X 12 book or scrapbook page though, where some of the others just grow to an 8 X 8. Once, you have your app on your phone, start with January and look at the activities you did with your family in that month and create a collage of "soccer" or "park day" or "visit to zoo" etc, then you are going to start saving the collages as a jpeg to upload to a book or scrapbook page. It is that simple!! Next week....step 2 on how to get the "saved collage" off your phone and into something meaningful!
Let's do this together!!
